About the Role:
Ball Square Cafe & Catering is looking for a reliable, motivated individual to join our growing catering team. This flexible, part-time position is ideal for someone with basic kitchen experience who wants to earn additional income.
Hours vary based on catering orders, with no guaranteed weekly schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, portioning and packaging catering orders.
- Support kitchen staff with basic cooking and meal preparation.
- Organize catering trays, platters and orders for pickup or delivery.
- Assist with catering deliveries, setup and cleanup when needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized kitchen.
Requirements:
- Basic kitchen or food-service experience preferred.
- Dependable, punctual and able to follow instructions.
- Comfortable working with kitchen equipment and preparing food.
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Flexible availability, including occasional mornings and weekends.
- ServSafe or allergen certification is a plus.
